xi -211 pages, 15 pages of adverts, top edge gilt pages uncut. 25 full page illustrations in b/w or red tint by the author, occasional light spotting to the contents. Publishers' dark blue cloth with gilt title and pigsticking scene to upper board, mounted rider vignette in gilt to the spine. The cloth is clean and the gilt bright. "Probably the first book dedicated solely to lancing wild boar", gives an insights into successful pig sticking techniques. Chapters include notes on the history of the sport, use of dogs, camp living, weapons etc. Czech Asia 16. A bright copy.
