True first British printing. No jacket. Illustrations by Lewis Lupton. All illustrations are present and in very good condition. Light brown boards with black lettering/design to spine and front are very good with the odd small mark, a little patchy fading, minor pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small bump/rub to edges and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Neat gift inscription in pen to front end-paper. Mark to lower corner of a few pages. Pages bit tanned. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Small (approx. 5mms) tear to bottom edge of a few pages. Occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
