What looks like a small stamp, dated 1829 on bottom left inside cover. Otherwise no markings or inscriptions. Paper toned. full calf binding, rubbed and bumped all over. Bottom of spine with some loss. front cover has 'Society for the Promotion of Christian Knowledge' embossed on it, now quite faint to make out.
