About this Item

This book is another in the "ACE" Series. It has a blue cloth cover which has a heavily sunned spine and a white-ish diagonal mark on the front - see photo- , the cloth does not appear to be cut, more indented as no evidence of any fraying. It is slightly cocked and there is some foxing on the edges, spine and first few pages. There is an inscription on the inner FEP. See photo. There are 4 illustrations. At the back there is a large section devoted to adverts which in the main are aviation related books including general and historical aviation, technical and intrumental, modelling and also some of the "ACE" series, aerial art, fiction and international cookbooks. 224pp and 39 pages of adverts. This is a ripping yarn about aeroplanes at war.
