These rare, original printings of nearly perfect volumes contain the Greek-Latin dialogues and works of Plato (side-by-side translated by the great Renaissance scholar, Marsilio Ficino). A modern editor corrects errors and readings by Ficino and others. The vols. were published between 1873-1915. Each volume measures 10 1/4" x 7" with the following: vol. 1, 757 pages; vol. 2, 602 pages; vol. 3, 350 pages. The bindings are tight and the pages able to sifted and read and are completely clean excepting the "ex libris" stamp in each volume of a previous owner.
