Sarah Orne Jewett was an author from Southern Maine, noted for her attention to detail in depicting New England country life, as well as to her depiction of characters and dialogue. GOOD condition. Moderate fading and some uneven toning. Moderate scuffing to the cloth, heavier, with fraying, along the extremities. Minor to moderate soiling, with minor spotting and staining to the covers.
