About the Author

William (Bill) Kemp, is a designer of industrial power control systems and is a leading expert in small and large-scale renewable energy technologies. He is the author of five books and is a co-author of the David Suzuki Foundation policy report Smart Generation; Powering Ontario with Renewable Energy. He and his wife Lorraine, live off the electrical grid on their hobby/horse farm in eastern Ontario.
