In a delightful decorative blue-green cloth. Spine lettered in gilt with gilt heart design to full-spine, with a single heart design in bright gilt with author name to the front cover. One tiny hole to the rear inner edge of the rear cover. This is the beginning of a small OLD inactive 'worm' track which affects the blank bottom of the rear pages and runs through the book having petered out to a miniscule dot. Mostly not noticable except at the very end. Overall VG, tight and bright. Top-edge bright gilt, remaining fore-edges untrimmed as issued. NO date given - but research shows it to be c. 1910. Many pages uncut. Internally Art-Nouveau style decorative 'bramble' end-papers in green/purple. Title-page printed in red and black text which is echoed throughout the book (with red running-heads). Some browning to the half-title only, o/w very clean throughout. No Inscriptions or Marks. Sepia Frontispiece. Introduction; Contents; (xii) + 278 pages. Includes 'Sonnets from the Portugese' - A bright, tight, attractive and clean copy. VERY GOOD. Charming BINDING Design by TALWIN MORRIS.
