First edition of the author's third book, published just after 'Lucky Jim', the resulting success being a great boost to Oscar Mellor's fledgling Fantasy Press. Demi 8vo. Six pages of printed text comprising the following poems: 'Lessons', 'Album-Leaf', 'Creeper', 'The Last War', 'Nocturne' and 'Act of Kindness'. Stapled wrappers, a little tanned and lightly stained at edges. A nice crisp copy. Designed and printed by Oscar Mellor, and edited by Mellor and George MacBeth. The twenty-second issue of this influential series "designed to feature the work of young poets in England today". In total thirty-five issues were eventually published between 1952-1957.
