Joseph Furphy (1843 -1912) is widely regarded as the "Father of the Australian novel". He mostly wrote under the pseudonym Tom Collins. CONDITION Papered bds with unbleached cloth spine (toned to edges, rubbed at tips) name inside front, portrait frontis of author and half tone photo plate of his mother, 56 pages.
