Green cloth boards with gilt text, rule and image of flower on front board, and gilt particulars to spine. Top edge gilt. Frontispiece of Flagg. Slightly deckle edges. Includes a calling card for the author with the inscription "With best wishes" in pencil and the address 358 Lexington Avenue. Title page states "Poems Second Edition, and Later Poems," although OCLC shows no prior publications to the 1895 edition, suggesting this may be the first published edition. No previous owners' names or other markings. Light wear to boards, head and tail of spine and corners; very small loss to cloth on front board's bottom edge (see images). 5 1/4 x 7 1/4 inches.
