Textblock a bit toned, recent ownership ex libris and rubberstamp to front pastedown, else a Very Good or better copy in a fine modern binding. Posthumously-published collection of poems by the late missionary to the controversial Society for Propagating the Gospel Nathaniel Evans (1742-1767). Text opens with the poem "On the death of the Rev. Nathaniel Evans" by "Laura," and a lengthy list of subscribers, including three watchmakers, a hatter, a tobacconist, a jeweler, and the novelist Oliver Goldsmith.
