142pp. G++/G. Red coloured cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Sun faded colour to tip and tail of spine. Previous owner's signature on ffep. Light toning to page edges. Slight weakness to binding on pp42/43 with small dirt mark in margin on p42. Occasional pencil marginalia and some underlining in pencil. Light blue coloured dust jacket is unclipped but face and rear panels have been toned with age. Black coloured illustration on face of horse and rider (based on drawing by Eugene Delacroix).
