First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 200pp + iv publisher's unpaginated advertisements. Blue smooth-weave cloth lettered in gold at the spine with a double gilt border to the upper board, repeated in blind on the rear board. Spine ends and tips of corners just a little rubbed and the backstrip cloth very lightly faded. Some spotting to one (blank) preliminary leaf and one (blank) concluding leaf. Tiny dealer plate to the rear pastedown. A very good copy. Eighty-six poems "written. in common English; not, however, without a misgiving that what I have done for a wider range of readers, may win the good opinion of fewer" - from the author's preface.
