1st thus of Globe Edition complete works in one volume edited by Alexander Smith; Half-bound gilded leather with nonpareil marbled boards and flyleafs; Gilded spine with significant tear at top edge, does not affect title and spine very good otherwise; Normal wear to corners and edges of board for age; Some discoloration around spinel; Nonpareil marbled fore edge and top and bottom of text block; Former owner inscription on front flyleaf, text unmarked otherwise.
