First edition. A few pages roughly opened, endpapers slightly tanned, text block edges with a few small spots, very good in a spine-tanned very good dust jacket with a few small spots on the front panel, a 2" tear on the rear panel and modest wear to the extremities. Contains an early appearance by Richard Wilbur of a poem titled "Driftwood"; additional contributions by Judith Wright, Muriel Spark, Edith Henrich, Peter Viereck, Howard Nemerov, Kay Smith, Howard Sergeant, Dannie Abse and more.
