Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean. Neatly penned previous owner inscription (1948) on front free endpaper. No other marks. 256 pgs. with index. Illustrated with photographs. Clean color illustrated dustjacket is not price clipped, has small edge chips, light creasing and short closed edge tears. Enclosed in new archival quality mylar cover. A wonderful work on riding and horsemanship written primarily for young people with the idea of helping novice owners and riders.
