100p., illustrated with a single plate, a sepia frontis portrait of author Kavi. Hardbound in 8x5 inch brown cloth boards spine- and cover-titled in white lettering, presswork on thick alkaline paperstock and fastened as closed signatures of which none are opened. A peculiar result; foldline closures are all to foredge-only, presenting the reader with an odd appearance and a lot of work. Boards, or rather cloth, are faintly damp-stained round the margins (might be ancient mildew, but nothing repulsive). All in all, a very good copy however idiosyncratic: quite sound, otherwise clean, and unmarked.
