iv+232+4+36 pp., early illustrated school dictionary, first edition with 'several hundred wood engravings', and additionally 4 pp on the interogative system of education + 36 pp of 'questions on the foregoing work'. Black leather petty good for age, with new paper label, gold blocking on front and gold band marks on spine, v.v. slight occasional foxing but mainly on eps; early ink signature on ffep. It appears to be very rare to find a first edition (or probably any early editions) complete with questions bound in at the end. Small tear at base of p.38 losing a few lines of text. Reasonably good condition leather. Eps swlightly foxed. Size: Sm 8vo. Seller Inventory # 004623
