Presumed 1st Edition Thus, no date, circa [1890]. 8 Volume Complete Miniature Set. Appear Excellent unopened and unread, as freshly published, in clamshell leather box. Many steel engraved full page plate illustrations per volume, coloured endpapers. Excellent clean tight sound square, no bookplate, small feint discreet ownership inscription, appear unopened and unread, well held in joints and hinges, clean crisp corners and edges. Bound in very bright gilt lettered full Black Morocco leather, all edges superb very bright gilt as though freshly published, a lovely set. Housed and protected in such great condition by original gilt lettered black Morocco leather box, with front flap opening for display, tender to hinge of lid, take great care when opening, else very good, gilt and green silk floral lining. A charming set, fit to grace the library of reader, scholar and collector alike.
