Item description from seller

Acumen, copyright 2010. Paperback edition, 2013. Scholarly paperback, just over 9 inches tall, xvi + 488 pages including chronology, bibliography and index, no illustrations except cover. This copy in just good condition because it was used as a textbook in a college class, probably, and it has some underlining and marginal tics in pen. The markings aren’t in every essay, but they are fairly widespread. Firm binding, no loose pages. Book covers a wide range of philosophers including Althusser, Foucault, Deleuze, Derrida, Lyotard, Bourdieu, Serres, Habermas, Gadamer, Ricoeur, Irigaray, Kristeva, Cixous among others including a little extra material about the Yale school of literary theory and R. Rorty. College or professional level.More info/photo on request.

Store description

I started selling books online around 1997-8, first on Bibliofind and then on Amazon. In my youth, I worked for a college textbook store and later at a university library. So I'm no stranger to scholarly books. Although semi-retired now, I still collect books and currently list for sale items no longer wanted in my personal library. Thus I do not have a large inventory as I am working from home. Still, I have an eclectic collection as befits a former librarian. My stock includes textbooks and scholarly books, with an emphasis on history, philosophy, and religion. My approval rating when I was with Amazon was 99% (2 were neutral). I'll try to accommodate any reasonable request.
