About this Item
A businessman in London "to effect a business deal with huge, international implications" meets a young Viennese widow to whom he is immediately attracted. This is the basis for the corporate-drama movie of the same name, which starred Robert Taylor, Elisabeth Müller, Burl Ives, Charles Coburn, and Cedric Hardwicke. Green cloth w/gilt spine lettering/rule to front cover/spine, 326 pages + brief three-page biography of Swiggett. Some edgewear, mild wear to corners/spine ends, some sunning to cloth, dusty/tanned edges, small ink price to top right corner of front end paper, in price-clipped dust jacket w/edge tears, some chipping, general wear. Dust jacket now in protective mylar sleeve, which spruces it up a bit. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 016215
