Tall 8vo., 268 x 174 mm, bound in publisher's dark gray cloth, title gilt on spine and front cover. Burlington, Vermont: Owl Press, 1900. First Edition. A turn-of-the-century manual much in the manner of Earhart, with chapters on Color, Harmony, Color Modified, Printing, Inks, Rollers, Makeready, Job Work, and Three-Color Process Work. There is almost more image than text in this guide for colour printers, in which the author gives multiple examples and "the laws governing the technique of color printing have been simply and plainly stated" (Preface).
