B&W and Color Illustrations; This is an oversized paperback book with illustrated covers and a glued spine. Stated First (Paperback) edition of the Abridged edition. The book is in Very Good- condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some light bumping, rubbing and wear, The top corners of the book covers (and text pages) have some lightish but noticeable wear (and possible chewing? ) and doesn't affect the text in any way. There are some light spots of ground-in dirt and one gouge to the rear cover. The text pages are clean and bright. The self covers have french flaps and the top corner of the front flap has been clipped by a former owner. "Idiosyncratic teacher-healer-philosopher, originator of a very individual system of yoga. Oki was born in Korea in 1921, and brought up in a strictly religious environment. His early education familiarized him with martial arts and Zen. He was influenced by the politician Ottama Daisojo, who played an important part in the history of Burma (now Myanmar).
