The Practice of Silviculture- With Particular Reference to Its Application in the United States.

I find myself becoming increasingly annoyed by the fact that when you attempt to find the value of a book online, you often find that "print-on-demand" versions of your book are being priced higher than actual original copies, without often regard to condition. I understand that reproducing a book can be a labor intensive effort but in my view, the need to do so should drive up the value of original copies? Okay, now that I have gotten that off my chest, please find a very nice copy (original copy- in fact First Edition) of: "The Practice of Silviculture, with Particular Reference to Its Application in the United States" by Ralph C. Hawley. Please see my photos of a portion of the Table of Contents for your fuller information about the book. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dark green, finely ribbed boards are clean and with some tiny faint blemishes and a bit of bumping to the corners and spine tips. The gilt titles are clean and bright on both cover and spine. Inside, two former owners have left their inked names but those are the only marks I found on the otherwise bright and clean interior pages which are also without toning or foxing.
