"Mabel" was the pseudonym of Mabel E Parks, born in 1862. Nothing is known of George Lambert although there was another artist of that name working a little later. 24 very nice illustrations, many in colour. I particularly like the last. Bound in illustrated boards. In remarkable nice condtion considering this book's fragile binding. Edgeworn, spine worn with minor splitting. Pencil gift inscription dated 1881.
