This novel of life at court in 360 pages contains four full page color illustrations. The condition is fine; the pages are free of marks and stains. There is a signature of a previous owner on the fly leaf, with the date Sept. 23, 1908 and a bookplate of another owner on the inside front cover. The green cloth cover shows a scene in red, black and gold of two men in court dress. The title and author are stamped in red; all is still very vibrant. The spine is stamped in black and is still very legible. There is slight wear on the corners of the covers. The binding is very tight.
