The brown boards and gold lettering though are still in very good condition. Outside of these distractions, there are no further visible extraneous markings or distractions throughout the book and thus all printing and the numerous illustrations and black and white photographs are all in a very well-preserved and readable condition and the book's sewn-in bindings remain tight and thus sound.
