First Edition of Harrison's celebrated critical edition (Oxford, 1948). No markings, annotations, or inscriptions. Internally fine. Text block edges dusted. The dust jacket is price clipped, but remains otherwise in very good condition, clean and with no conspicuous damage, save for some light wear to the spine ends and edges, some incidental shelf-marks, and a very small abrasion to the spine bottom, presumably from a small sticker (note: this decidedly is not a former library book). Green cloth with gilt titling to the spine. The boards remain cleanand sound, and the corners tolerably sharp. Edited with an Introduction by Wilfrid Harrison. Blackwell's Political Texts. lxvii, 435pp. Seller Inventory # 3144
