Two volumes. Orange and tan printed boards. 8vo. 74 & 23pp. These two booklets relate to difficulties which arose when H.G. Wells hired collaborators to work on the third book of his trilogy on the "current state of knowledge"- The Work Wealth and Happiness of Mankind. They were published at the author's expense. The first volume is limited to 175 copies and the second to 225 copies. Both copies are in worn condition with heavy spotting and wear to the covers. The front cover of the first volume is detached and its spine is chipped. The text is good with some light soiling. The second volume has a few black spots to the covers and some chipping to the spine. Its text is good with some foxing throughout.
