Item description from seller

The first edition of this very scarce programme detailing the aims of the Land Tenure Reform Association, founded by and with an explanatory statement by English philosopher and politician, John Stuart Mill. First edition. Very scarce work. This pamphlet outlines the objectives of the Land Tenure Reform Association, a British pressure group for land reform which was founded by esteemed politician and philosopher John Stuart Mill. Opening with the associations 'Programme' of ten intended reforms, followed by an explanatory statement by John Stuart Mill. With a stamp of the British Library of Political & Economic Science (Pamphlet Collection). A pamphlet, bound in contemporary paper wraps. Externally, lovely, with light shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with just the odd mark. Stamp and ink notation to title page. Very Good Indeed.
