About this Item

Bound in original leather. Remains of gilt decoration to spine. The spine has an earlier repair to spine ends. New leather title label. leather rubbed with wear at corners and scuffs to boards. Inside, marbled end papers with two small private library labels. C17th or C18th neat writing on one of the blank end papers. Underlining in pencil to first few pages which can easily be erased. Very occasional spot, some pages tanned. Over all, in good condition and firmly bound.
