First edition, 1/260 copies. This copy lacking the limited edition page with the author's signature. Measuring approximately 8.5" x 5.75" with 299 numbered pages. This book is in good minus condition. Moderate bumping to both ends of spine. Heavy sunning to spine and both boards. Minor foxing to foredge of textblock. Top edge of textblock gilt still full. Front hinge cracked. Front and rear pastedowns and endpaper moderately foxed. Interior pages bright and clean. Please view the many other rare titles available for purchase at our store. Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. True first British printing. No jacket. Green boards with gold lettering to spine are very good with a few small marks (mainly to front), minor pushing/bumping to corners, fading/browning to spine, the odd small bump/rub to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/slight fraying to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top of pages dyed green have the odd small mark/minor scratch. Rough cut page edges and bottoms have the odd small mark/(quite) heavy foxing. End-papers tanned. Small bookseller's sticker inside front board. Pages bit tanned. Occasional small marks/scattered foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately.
