Milan; Studio Guenzani, 1994. First edition. 19x20 cm. 52 leaves of photographic plates + colophon. Original printed wrappers. Front wrapper is insignificantly creased in lower margin. A fine copy. Issued in 1500 copies. The photos, by McCarthy and Fredrik Nilsen, document objects used by the artist as props in a series of performances between 1972 and 1984, such as stuffed animals, dolls, bottles, and uniforms. After the performances had been dismantled, the objects were stored in suitcases which were not opened until the early ninetees, when the artist initiated this series of photos. From the library of Anders Tornberg Gallery in Lund, Sweden, and with a stamp confirming this on the last blank page. Seller Inventory # 43304
