The reason for this Watergate-style operation is not hard to find. From the civil rights movement and the giant antiwar demonstrations to the battle for women's rights, the fight for school desegregation in Boston, and resistance to cutbacks and layoffs in New York, Atlanta, San Francisco, and a score of other cities, the Socialist Workers Party has been at the center of the radicalization of the sixties and seventies. Here five leaders of the SWP discuss the ideas the FBI tried to suppress. They offer the party's proposals for strengthening the struggles of working people women, Blacks, Chicanos, Puerto Ricans, students - and building a mass socialist movement that can take on the ruling super-rich and win.
