1931. First Edition. 210 pages. No dust jacket. Volume I. Navy cloth with gilt lettering. Boards have been painted with gloss. Mild brown staining to pages on occasion. Previous owner's name to front endpaper. Notable foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Both hinges cracked with netting visible, thus the boards are slack. Pages are rough cut along bottom edge. Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with crushing to spine ends.
