These Indians live in the Rio Grande Valley of New Mexico and have worked together politically for many years. In this book, short essays on the high points of Pueblo history, such as the Pueblo Revolt of 1620, are interspersed with the biographical sketches containing information on the subject's educational, personal, and political life.
