3 beautifully illustrated war-time humourous works 3 or a total of 4 in the series, undated but 1942/3, Minor rubbing at extremes, At The Zoo has an owner inscription at top of title page "To John. With Love from uncle Clayton and auntie Jess. also a tiny ink squiggle mid-way down on title, hardly noticed and minor detraction. Small slim illustrated paper boards by this sublime artist Joyce Dennis in the louche deco-style of 10 years earlier. *THREE books in this listing, you purchase all 3.

We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
