Sterling condition softcover exemplar of the author's Ph.D. thesis, with unfurled tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear. Two-page map of the region in Western Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea in which the author conducted fieldwork from 1998-2000 on the gradual Christianization of the Somaip people. His academic page says the following: "Hans Reithofer is a Senior Lecturer who specializes in the South-West Pacific and supports our Institute?s Oceania team. In his PhD project, he studied how the Wola/Mendi in the Papua New Guinea Highlands appropriated, adapted and indigenized Christianity . . . Hans first studied theology with the Divine Word Missionaries in Austria and then worked as a Catholic priest in Papua New Guinea before commencing his studies in anthropology in Basel, Switzerland. In his subsequent fieldwork, he found his double role as missionary and anthropologist intriguing rather than incoherent." every book I have listed on-line. Sometimes, however, books change condition
insofar as they sit on the shelf for a long time, get moved by customers, get

purchase or it arrives somehow damaged, or if it doesn't get to you at all, you
