Hardback, VG, in unclipped dustjacket with moderate shelfwear, some age-discolouration and a few small chips and tears. Light blue cloth, slightly sunned to top edge, with gilt crown decoration to front, gilt lettering to spine. Binding strong. Fep has small ownership name and address. Frontispiece b/w photograph. 192pp., b/w photographs throughout. Contents clean and bright. "Written to mark the coming of age, on April 21st, 1947, of the Heiress to the Throne, this book gives a full length picture of Princess Elizabeth as she is today" (from the cover). The book is a wonderful souvenir of the late Queen's life. With this book will be despatched free of charge a copy of Wulff's companion volume "Silver Wedding : the record of twenty-five royal years" (1948) which narrates the married life of George VI and Queen Elizabeth and contains a chapter on family life which has many details of the young life of Princess Elizabeth, later Elizabeth II. This volume is also in VG condition, but with a fair only dustjacket with tears, chips and small portions missing on the reverse side.
