With pictures by artists including Edmund Dulac, Frank Brangwyn, Rex Whistler, and Mabel Lucie Attwell, this lovely book stands apart. Additionally, a number of the written pieces touch on contemporary events such as Jan Struther's "Mrs. Miniver makes a List" and A.A. Milne's "The General Takes Off His Helmet."
