every few years--for the pure pleasure and skill of it.” -Michael Ondaatje
“Tevis traps us in the breathless drama of the moment and makes us feel the same intense involvement his characters feel.” –The Cleveland Plain Dealer
“Ultimately, this is not really a novel about chess. . . . It can be read with intense enjoyment by those who know nothing about the game, as long as they are interested in what it means to be human at the deepest levels.” –The Washington Post
“It’s advisable to tape your fingers before opening The Queen’s Gambit. Otherwise, the suspense may bring on nail-chewing right to the elbow.” –Houston Chronicle

Store description
We started selling books at the Toronto Book Fair in the Fall of 1996. In 2004 we opened up a Brick and Mortar store on the corner of Lakeshore and Bronte. We unfortunately only lasted for 2 years. Then we closed the B&M and moved everything back home. We continue to do book shows such as the Bouchercon, Bloody Words, The Toronto Book Fair, The Ottawa Antiquarian Show and Thrillerfest. In order to sell and acquire signatures. Thank you.

Shipping terms
I make it a rule not to contact you with extra shipping. When I buy books I buy with the thought of "How much is this book going to cost to ship." If it's too much I won't buy it.
The shipping charges that ABE quotes is the final shipping charges. I will not contact you for more money. I will bite the bullet myself rather then harass you for more money.
Thank you. Don
