The master of true crime writing presents a selection of cases, with eight illustrations. Stock lightly toned, but otherwise all in VG internal order. No inscriptions. Curiously, though this is the W Green & Son first printing, it is bound in Cassell & Co boards. Cassell published Roughead's work from the 1930s onwards, suggesting that for this volume they acquired unbound existing sheets and bound them up. Cloth a little marked and well worn to edges. Boards lightly shaken. 8vo. xiii, 259pp.

Store description
Formerly known as Journobooks, our original speciality was books about journalism, journalists, newspapers, magazines and other media (hence the old name) and we still have a great stock of hard-to-find books in that field. Over time we have added a wide variety of other collectible gems some of which we sell on behalf of the charity Friends of Morston Church (reg.1099831). Our goal is to offer the best value for money on Abebooks, ie. the lowest price for the condition of the book. We love buying and selling books, so will try to make your buying experience as easy and pleasant as possible.…
