First UK edition, originally issued in the US two years previously. 8vo. 307pp. Black cloth lettered and ruled in gold at the spine. Some browning to the endpapers and tanning to the fairly poor quality paperstock. Time Book Club inkstamp to the rear pastedown. A very good copy in tanned, nicked, chipped and repaired non-price-clipped dust wrapper.
