Aunque la influencia de Quevedo se da por supuesta en la vuelta a los cl�sicos llevada a cabo por la generaci�n del 27, hasta el momento no ha sido objeto de atenci�n por parte de los estudiosos, quienes se han limitado -en contadas ocasiones- a a�adir el nombre de Quevedo al final de una rutinaria enumeraci�n de autores del Renacimiento y del Barroco que, con la excepci�n de G�ngora, tampoco se han hecho acreedores de estudios que justifiquen su presencia en la misma.
