Octavo, 23pp. Publisher's original pictorial wrappers. Bound at spine with staple. Split along spine, still holding, archival tissue repair to reinforce at hinge. Light toning to leaves, as expected. Housed in custom black cloth clamshell, title on black Morocco label on spine. This work is one of four private publication coaching pamphlets from Coach Knight, which include: Let's Play Defense (1968), Let's Get A Shot (1968), Motion Offense (1975), and Quickness Reaction Practice Planning (1970). From the private collection of Allen "Boo" Pergament, a major figure in New Jersey youth basketball, with his stamp on the title page. Bobby Knight (1940-2023) was a NCAA basketball coach, holding three national championships, eleven Big Ten Conference Championships, and an Olympic gold medal as the coach of the 1984 USA Men's Basketball Team. He retired with the most wins of any coach in NCAA Division I basketball history, but has since been surpassed by three coaches. He was the head coach of the Army Black Knights from 1965-1971, the Indiana Hoosiers from 1971-2000, and the Texas Tech Red Raiders from 2001-2008. He passed away at the age of 83 in 2023.
