Illustrated with numerous plates (both sides) from photos, including frontispieces. Vol.I is "Reprinted, with corrections, December 1944". Cloth has average wear to head and tail on spine. Dust jacket has 1cm open- and a few small closed-tears near head, several chips on spine and extremities. Dust jacket of Vol.II has chipping to edges and spine, two 4cm closed tears near spine on front. Vol.III has average shelf-wear and a 3mm tear to the cloth near head of spine. Dust jacket has chipping to spines and extremities, 3cm closed tear at top edge, 2x7cm open tear near head of spine, back half detached but present and set in mylar sleeve.
