This is a UK first edition hardcover published by C, J, E, and J P Weatherby in 1869. The book is in Very Good condition for its age with straight spine, sharp corners and firm spine ends. The covers are clean as you can see and the gilt logo on the front is intact. The spine ends are frayed and at some point the front panel has split about halfway down but is still firmly affixed to the book and so is not a real concern as it's not going to worsen. The binding is tight and intact, with heavily toned page edges and clean text. The title page confirms the book was published in 1869. Seller Inventory # 016909
