PAGES: xiii + 272 with Index + 8 pages of publisher's ads. CONDITION: Very good for age with tight binding and clean unmarked cloth boards. Minor wear to the blue cloth cover. B/w map on front endpapers, titled 'A map of the railways of Devonshire' which shows a comprehensive network at that time. Brown spotting on half title page, on page edges and in the margins of most pages. The interior is nevertheless bright and with no inscriptions. ILLUSTRATIONS: B/w frontispiece + 18 further photographic plates. Weight: 470 grams unpackaged. Immediate, well packaged despatch. Sent with tracking within UK. Reasonable international rates.

Terms of sale
Books ordered will be despatched in secure packaging on receipt of payment. If payment is made by cheque or postal order, these can be accepted in GBP sterling only. If it is required by the purchaser, and where it is possible to do so, insurance can be arranged at the purchaser's cost. It is our standard practice to obtain certificates of posting for all items that we send. It is our policy to accept the return of an item provided that it is sent back to us in the same condition, within seven days of receipt, the return postage being payable by the purchaser.
Shipping terms
We attempt to despatch books ordered within 2 working days. Our estimated shipping costs may vary in accordance with the packaged weight. It may be necessary to request additonal shipping. Alternatively, we shall reduce shipping costs where weight permits. In the case of multiple orders, the postage will be based on the total weight thus ensuring the minimum cost to the purchaser.
