True first edition.Orange cloth covers with gold titles to spine.In mint condition.Dust wrapper is unclipped,bright and clean.Light fade to spine,absolute minimal edge wear.Block is sound and tight,clean and tidy.Neat name and inscription on front prelim.No loose pages.Lovely copy.Cosgrove is no ordinary newshound.He has big ideas and ambitions but doesn't find it easy to thrust his way to the top of professional journalism.He lands a tough assignment out in the sticks and grits his teeth and tackles it.He finds it a mares nest but he doesn't seem to be able to make his editor see sense.So Cosgrove keeps trying,then he looses his nerve,his temper,his sense of proportion and goes beserk.And oddly enough,at the end of it all Cosgrove is triumphant.
